What’s behind the doors at RACV Club?
Discover an urban oasis nestled in Melbourne’s CBD: RACV Club is a place to network, unwind and enjoy premium dining, spa treatments and unique social events.
Like many buildings in Melbourne’s CBD, you may have walked past 501 Bourke Street many times – perhaps noticed the RACV Club logo – and wondered what’s inside?
Walking through the revolving doors, you’ll discover an urban oasis, a place with state-of-the-art facilities, including a Fitness Centre, 25m lap pool, multiple dining venues and bars, One Spa, Shared Workspace, Billiards Room, accommodation and more.
RACV Club is a lifestyle club that caters for the social, leisure and business needs of its members. When you join you have access to all these facilities at City Club, as well as a cornucopia of amenities and experiences at Healesville Country Club & Resort.
Contemporary style built on rich tradition
A major ground-floor and level-one refurbishment, completed in January 2022, ushers in a new era for RACV Club, which was established in 1903, with a sensitive reimaging of these grand spaces.
From the sculptured lights and staircase highlighting the impressive double-height ceiling to the multi-faceted Bistro and Coffee Lounge with banquette seating areas that create comfortable and discrete seating zones, City Club combines style, connectivity, and functionality.
On level one, you’ll find the Gallery Lounge, with a program of exhibitions showcasing the RACV Art Collection, the award-winning Members Dining Room, the Wine Bar – where you can try local produce like Little Lon Distilling Co – and the Shared Workspace, which attracts young professionals and those interested in advancing their career through the Club Mentoring Program.
