2024 Subaru Solterra: price and specs
The first Subaru Solterra electric SUVs have arrived in Australia, with Subaru confirming price and model line-up.
The Solterra is Subaru’s first battery electric vehicle and was co-developed with Toyota, which launches its own version, the Bz4X in March.
Entering the country’s most popular vehicle segment, the medium SUV lines up against EVs including Australia’s best selling electric vehicle, the Tesla Model Y and the more affordable BYD Atto 3.
Subaru is banking on its credibility as an all-wheel drive specialist in delivering the Solterra to Australian drivers, with the new vehicle developed exclusively as an all-wheel drive model with competitive ground clearance of 212mm.
Drivers can access Dual Mode X-Mode in conjunction with Subaru’s symmetrical all-wheel drive to improve traction on challenging road surfaces, such as in slippery or icy weather, on steep hills, or in muddy terrain.
