We’ll identify these as we prepare your quote.

Home EV charging costs vary depending on what vehicle you have, how far you drive each day, how much you pay for electricity and when you charge.

If you have rooftop solar, you could power your vehicle with renewable energy and reduce your running costs even further.

Single phase and three-phase power are power supply connection systems with different power levels to suit different electrical needs.

Single-phase power is generally used in residential homes where the electrical equipment and systems are smaller and have lower energy needs.
Three-phase power is suited to workshops, large buildings and larger homes with many large energy-intensive appliances.

Most residential homes run effectively on single-phase power. Generally, if you‘re unsure which type of power connection have in your home it's likely to be single phase.

A quick way to check is to go to your meter box and look at the fuse cartridges. If you have one main switch or fuse cartridge, you have a single-phase connection. If you have three, you have three-phase power.

If you're not sure what connection type you have, we’ll guide you through this when you request a quote.

In most cases, there won’t be a need to upgrade your incoming supply mains power.

In the unlikely event you’re reaching the upper limits of your home’s maximum demand and spare capacity, you may consider upgrading your incoming power supply to avoid nuisance tripping and enjoy maximum charging speeds. Our qualified electricians can guide you through this during charger installation.

All of our EV charging hardware and installations are backed by a three-year product warranty. If you’re experiencing issues with your home EV charger, call us on 1300 447 765 — we’re here to help.

^Speed estimates are based on figures provided by JETCharge. Actual charging speeds may vary based on factors such as your vehicle, household electricity supply, and installation requirements. Charging from a standard 240V general power outlet will add around 10km of range per hour of charge. When using a dedicated EV home charging station, the charging time will depend on your vehicle's on-board charger. If your vehicle can accept charging speeds of 7 kW or more, our charging stations can deliver approximately 30 km of range per hour of charge - making it up to three times faster.
