2025 Kia K4 preview: price, specs and release date in Australia
Kia Australia has confirmed pricing and model line-up for the new 2025 Kia K4, the replacement for the top-selling Kia Cerato small car. From specs to pricing, here's what you need to know about the Kia K4.
Available from dealerships in Australia at the end of January 2025 and priced from $30,590 plus on-road costs, the 2025 Kia K4 is based on the outgoing Cerato and arrives initially as a sedan to be joined later in the year by a hatch version that's likely to be more popular.
The Kia Cerato nameplate has been a feature of the brand’s line-up for 20 years, and has remained one of Australia's best-selling cars, even as the market has transitioned to SUVs and light commercial vehicles.
In 2024 Kia sold 15,502 Cerato vehicles in Australia, making it the second best-selling small car in the country behind the Toyota Corolla and the second most popular vehicle in its line-up behind the Kia Sportage medium SUV.
The new Kia K4 is longer, wider and lower than the outgoing Kia Cerato, featuring a sporty design somewhat reminiscent of Kia's range of electric SUVs (EV3, EV5 and EV9), new technology and safety features.
