Formerly known as ‘A local beer’, Local Brewing Co's XPA beer is exactly that – local. Everything from the brewing of the beer to the artwork is done right here in Melbourne.

With 5% alcohol, it’s still a heavy beer, but our friends at Bourke Street Green say it’s the citrus and tropical notes that make this XPA beer unique.  
 
Best of all, this beer is designed to drive sustainable social impact. Local Brewing Co helps to improve living standards by providing meals to people in need through an innovative partnership.

“There is also a really cool partnership with SecondBite. For every six beers you purchase, Second Bite gives someone in need a meal,” says Rob Piece, Manager at Bourke Street Green.

“In 2019 alone, Second Bite supplied more than 35 million meals to people in need.”
