Simple bread and butter pudding
Ingredients
- 8 slices bread (crusts removed)
- 3 eggs
- 3 tbs caster sugar
- 300ml cream
- 1/4 cup fruit jam - your choice
- 1 tbs ground cinnamon
- 40g butter, softened
Method
- Preheat oven to 180C.
- Spread the bread with butter and jam. Sprinkle with cinnamon.
- Whisk together the eggs, sugar and cream.
- Pour over the bread and bake for 25 minutes.
To serve
Makes for a super lush dessert, served warm with ice cream.
