What does Complete Care® Car Insurance cover?

Loss or damage to your vehicle

Caused by an accident, flood, fire, malicious act, storm, theft or attempted theft.

Vehicle towing, pickup and return

If you’re involved in an incident.

Hire car after an incident or theft

Until your vehicle is repaired and returned to you.

Liability cover up to $20 million

For unintentional collision damage to someone else’s vehicle or property.

Pet assistance

In the event you’re involved in an incident more that 100km from home and need to stay in pet-friendly accommodation.

New replacement vehicle

If RACV Insurance considers your vehicle to be a total loss and agrees to pay your claim. Conditions apply.

Cover for windscreen, sunroof and window glass damage

As a result of an incident, without any excess payment.

Any licenced driver (including learners)

With permission to drive your vehicle will be covered. Additional excess may apply to inexperienced drivers or drivers under 25.

Agreed value
This is how much RACV Insurance agrees to insure your vehicle for. You can choose from within a value range, and it remains fixed for the term of the policy.

At renewal, RACV Insurance considers the changes in your vehicles agreed value using local market values. Check your renewal notice for any changes.

Market value
This is an assessment of your vehicle’s value at the time of an incident you’re making a claim for. It considers local market prices and the age and condition of your vehicle.

You can only choose between agreed value and market value if you purchase a Comprehensive Car Insurance policy.

Yes, as long as they have a valid driver’s license. Additional excesses may apply for drivers under 25 and inexperienced drivers.
