Jane’s journey to installing solar didn’t get off to the best start. Before contacting RACV Solar, she accepted a quote from another company, who arrived on installation day only to realise they couldn’t assist with the complex installation.

On the advice of a friend, Jane called us. We visited her house a few times and after discussing her options, we tailored a system that would help her save in three different areas:

  • Rooftop solar system
  • A new heating/cooling unit
  • New hot water heat pump

"All of the staff I dealt with were terrific – very knowledgeable and great communicators."

- Jane, Fitzroy

This has helped Jane significantly reduce her energy use and her impact on the planet. With our monitoring system, she can see exactly how much energy she’s using and generating, which often brings a smile to her face. So despite her rocky start, her decision to go solar will bring her happiness for many years to come.

"Eight months down the track we are delighted that our electricity bills have decreased, and I love the phone app. On sunny days, it’s great to see the panels producing a lot more electricity than we consume."

- Jane, Fitzroy
