RACV Healesville Country Club & Resort's solar project

As part of RACV's commitment to a cleaner energy future, RACV Solar designed and installed a 370kW solar system at RACV’s Healesville Country Club & Resort in 2020.

Made up of 1121 solar panels and 14 inverters, the system now provides about a fifth of the club and resort’s total energy usage for a year and covers the entirety of its daytime energy usage on an average summer day!

"Having solar installed at the resort has been fantastic. The panels are helping to significantly reduce our energy costs and carbon emissions, and it’s a great talking point with our guests. We’re proud to be generating our own cleaner energy and doing our bit."

- Josh O’Brien, Country Club & Resort Manager, RACV Healesville Country Club

The installation at Healesville was part of a larger project to install solar across all RACV resorts that includes more than 2MW of solar, or around 6500 solar panels. This will form a key part of RACV’s goal to achieve 100% renewable energy offset within the entire organisation.

Since 2020, we’ve been building out our capability within the Solar division of RACV. All of the solar across all RACV resorts has been designed and installed by our in-house team of specialists and we’re continuing to invest in growing our capabilities to offer solar to more Victorian households and businesses.
