RACV will open the doors to a bigger and better Geelong store on Monday 19 August, where members and customers can also secure exclusive travel and experience deals.

The new location at 81 Malop Street will allow members and customers to access the full range of RACV products and services across insurance, roadside and home assistance, along with travel agents to support tour bookings, cruises, flights, accommodation, airport transfers, travel insurance and international driving permits.

RACV’s Travel and Experience business with travel agency expertise has access to partners including Australian Pacific Touring (APT), Scenic, Intrepid, and Princess, among other well-known and trusted partners.

RACV Executive General Manager Membership Mark Geraghty said RACV was proud of its long and ongoing contribution to the Geelong region.

“RACV has a long association with the Geelong area and our new location in the heart of Malop Street Mall will make it even easier for RACV members and customers to access the full suite of RACV products and services, including everything they need for their next holiday,” Mr Geraghty said.

RACV Executive General Manager Leisure Craig Peachey said he hopes the Geelong community can take full advantage of the range of travel and experience options available.

“We’re thrilled to now offer travel and experience services at our Geelong store, and the team look forward to assisting members and customers with everything from domestic and international tours, cruises, flight deals, luxury and budget accommodation and, of course, your travel insurance options,” Mr Peachey said.

The RACV Geelong store team has celebrated the opening by supporting the local community through a donation of $5,000 to Geelong Chances, whose mission is to see students facing financial barriers achieve their potential.

Geelong Chances was established by Western Chances, which is based in Melbourne’s west and provides scholarships and opportunities to young people facing barriers to education.

Western Chances CEO Zac Lewis said the donation from the RACV Geelong store will support their pilot program to increase participation of young people in Geelong.

“We have received overwhelming interest in the Geelong program, having already exceeded our pilot goal to support 25 young people with scholarship fund donations. The donation from the RACV Geelong store will support five students’ education for a year, giving access to items like internet, transport, essential school textbooks and stationery.”

Store opening hours will be between 9:00am and 5:00pm Monday to Friday, and 9:00am to 2:00pm Saturdays, with expert travel consultants available during those times.
