Following on from Remembrance Day, join historian David Howell for a Kokoda Historical presentation where he brings Australian military history to life. David specialises in the South-West Pacific Area of Operations during the Second World War; coinciding with his book release, the presentation will focus on the history of Kokoda and Australian Military.

Built in the mid-1840s by Alfred and Sarah Langhorne, Altona Homestead was the first homestead built on the foreshore of Port Phillip Bay. Remaining a private residence until 1920, the homestead changed ownership several times and served as a seaside holiday village, Council offices, meeting place for community groups and even a dentist.
