From the start of April, a Chess group will be hosted in our stunning Banyalla Lounge. Meet fellow Club Members for a friendly game or two over coffee and enjoy the tranquil surrounds of the Club. This is a great way to meet new friends, learn a new game, or improve your game in the most comfortable of settings.

Whether you're a seasoned player or new to bingo, the anticipation, strategy, and fun are endless. Bring your friends along to our Monthly Bingo and brace yourself for a riveting bingo experience. Prizes to be won!

Ticket includes four games, tea and coffee. 

We offer eight full-size tables in our world class Billiards Room. Resident professional and three-time World Champion, Robby Foldvari conducts the space, taking coaching lessons and overseeing our monthly social 8-ball competitions as well as annual snooker and billiards tournaments.

The RACV Bridge Club provides Members with regular Monday and Wednesday playing sessions as well as beginner courses for Club members who may wish to learn the game of Bridge.

The Club is affiliated with the Australian Bridge Federation and engages with the wider Bridge community via inter-Club competitions and the annual Swiss Pairs Congress.

Start your day with a boost of energy that will leave you feeling great. Join our Club Fitness instructors as they lead you through the CBD, motivating you to unlock your full potential. Challenge yourself, get results and find the new you.

This is an open-ended initiative that currently offers chess and mahjong for Members to enjoy on Thursday mornings in the Clubroom on Level 2.

​We are excited to work with Members to introduce new games or add to existing equipment such as additional chess or mahjong sets, should there be sufficient interest.

​Attendance to Thursday morning Mind Games sessions is free of charge for Club Members, and inclusive of self-service tea & coffee. Attendees are also able to enjoy $20 flat rate parking for the day of their attendance.​

Evening Mahjong offers a relaxing social game after work hours. Meeting on the first Wednesday of each month, the group take dinner in the Bistro together before settling in for an evening of discussion and non-competitive play.

Mahjong players also meet on Thursday mornings as part of our Mind Games initiative in the Clubroom on Level 2

Find your motivation and get the busy moving with a morning workout with RACV Club Fitness Centre trainer Fran. Join Fran for a live workout from your living room - no equipment required.

Start your day on the right note with a morning yoga and breathwork session. Many Fitness Centre members will know Kathy from her popular yoga classes, so if you can't make her class in person, join in online for a live session to set up your day.

Ease into your Monday with a gentle Pilates class lead by Fitness Centre trainer, Carla. A fusion of Pilates and stretching, join Carla online to get your body moving and prepare you for the week ahead.

While not an established group yet, Scrabble is offered in the Club Library with a premium board and set. Members are welcome to settle in for a game at their leisure.

We are currently taking expressions of interest for the creation of a Scrabble Group that would meet regularly for social play.

Meeting fortnightly on Thursday mornings, our Solo Group is one of our longest standing Member Interest Groups. Welcoming players of all skill levels, the group often takes lunch in the Bistro after playing.

The Group additionally organises a Solo excursion to Healesville Country Club each year.

With 10 teams ranging from grades A1 through F, the RACV Squash Club competes in the Melbourne Club Circuit with games usually played on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday evenings. Coaching, court hire and social play are all available, with four dedicated squash courts located in our City Club Fitness Centre.

Beginner Bridge Lessons are back! One of the Club’s largest interest groups, the RACV Bridge Club hosts sessions on Mondays and Wednesdays each week. This is the perfect opportunity to learn the game from our esteemed director Ben Kingham and get involved.
The Beginner Bridge course comprises four lessons and will be held on Tuesday mornings throughout May. Weekly sessions are divided into two halves of approx. 2 hrs. each and lunch is provided between.

Ticket includes four-week course, lunch at each session and tea & coffee.

A new Book Group is starting at our beautiful Country Club. The group will meet on the first Tuesday of each month from April. A book group is a wonderful way to meet like-minded Club Members and enjoy the reading of novels together. This initial session will give members a chance to select books for the year, get information from Club staff, and meet fellow bookworm Members!

The Club has two Book Groups who meet monthly to chat about their book of the month. We provide a new book each month for Members to take home and read. Groups dine together after their meeting and discussion is always lively with interesting books selected throughout the year.

RACV Travel Groups meet on the first two Tuesdays each month to discuss their intrepid experiences, share tips and recommendations. Meetings are casual in nature, with many taking the form of group discussion while some sessions involve more of a presentation from members fresh with experiences to share.

RACV Club’s Film Group meets on the third Friday of each month to watch and discuss a classic film together. Members are invited to stay for lunch in the Bistro for discussion after the movie.

Join the group on Zoom for monthly Tuesday catchups to discuss all mediums from impressionist painting to renaissance sculpture. Many Members take part, while many simply sit back and listen, all levels of knowledge and engagement welcome
