If you have an NDIS plan (not managed by an agency) you can use your funding for Emergency Wheelchair and Scooter Assist.

A few things to keep in mind
Our technicians are unable to help with lifting a person out of a wheelchair, but they can call a carer or friend who can help if needed.
Breakdown service can only be provided in areas where RACV can gain access, which may exclude some shopping centres, parks and other locations.
Frequently asked questions
If we’re unable to fix your wheelchair or scooter, we’ll organise a taxi to take you to your destination of choice, up the value of $60 per incident.
RACV Wheelchair and Scooter Assist includes an allowance for minor parts up to the value of $33 (if they are carried by the attending RACV technician).
We can also replace any minor broken parts with your own spare parts if you have them available.
There’s no waiting period. You can get emergency help and access the benefits of Wheelchair and Scooter Assist as soon as you’ve joined.
Getting around and maintaining your mobility vehicle
# RACV Years of Membership: at 5 years Bronze cardholders receive a 5% discount, at 10 years Silver cardholders receive a 10% discount, at 25 years Gold cardholders receive a 15% discount and at 51 years Gold 50 cardholders receive a 20% discount.
