RACV encourages motorists to check the safety rating of their vehicles
As National Road Safety week unfolds across Australia, RACV is encouraging motorists to visit the ANCAP website and check on the safety rating of their vehicle.
With ratings data most recently updated in May, ANCAP shares its important research in an easy-to-navigate format, providing motorists with everything required to make informed, safe decisions.
RACV Head of Policy, James Williams, recommends motorists choose a vehicle with the highest safety rating possible.
“The easiest way to see how your vehicle measures up when it comes to protecting you and your loved ones is to see how many stars it has earned in the ANCAP rating,” Mr Williams said.
“The higher the ANCAP rating, the better your chances are of avoiding trauma in the event of a crash.”
